A total of 333 yachts have visited Nawi Island Marina since opening date, showing the growing popularity and reputation of the marina as the premier yachting facility in Fiji and the Pacific.
According to updates from Nawi Island, during the current cruising season, it had recorded between 70 to 75 yachts per month.
Of the 333 yachts recorded, seven were super yachts.
Super yachts are large and luxurious yachts for pleasure yachts.
Nawi Island Marina is constructed according to Australian standards and is certified to withstand up to a category 5 cyclone.
It has 132 berths including those for superyachts up to 85 m in length, full service toilet and shower facilities, fuel jetty, 24 hours security, 240 volt single phase and 414 volt 3 phase power (400 Amps also available), laundry services, and UV filtered water supply.
Further Nawi Island is a ‘game changer’ for cruising yachts looking to cruise all year round in Fiji because of its state of the art, heavy duty construction and horse shoe shape marina, nestled into a tropical bush covered basin which creates a perfect cyclone bolt hole.

While Nawi Island is currently in its peak season, yacht numbers are expected to decrease as the off season sets in close to November.
However, for this year, the marina has already 20 confirmed yachts booked for its off season and another 20 are yet to confirm. These yachts will remain in Savusavu while its owners travel back home during the off season.
