Hosted by the Musket Cove Yacht Club and Musket Cove Island Resort, the world famous regatta week which runs from 13th to 19th of September is a must for every yacht cruising Fiji’s magnificent waters.
Musket Cove is well known for its yacht club, marina berths, moorings and cruising grounds and regularly attracts cruising yachtsmen and women from all over our beautiful, big blue planet; come and see what all the fuss is about and sign up for a week of fun while you’re at it.
The Regatta begins with an official welcome on Friday the 13th at the Yacht Club. While such a date may be unlucky for some, we are certain that even the most superstitious of sailors will feel that they have lady luck on their side to be in Fiji and participating in such a memorable week!
On Saturday, join in the infamous ‘Pirate Day’ where a seven mile sail will see you arrive at Beachcomber Island for some swashbuckling adventures – why not fully immerse yourself in the fun and dress up as a pirate?
More laughter will be heard drifting along in the ocean breeze to nearby islands over the course of this fun, action-packed week. Beach games, Island Party Nights, Hobie Cat Challenges and even a ‘Hairy Chest’ Competition are schedulled, with a dinner party and prize-giving as the grand finale!
There are no entry fees for participation in this week of sailing fun – so what are you waiting for!?
