Through this relationship, Yacht Help Fiji has extended meaningful support to local communities by providing donations in kind to hospitals, schools, and villages in need.
Their continued outreach has played an important role in supporting community development across Vanuabalavu.
Moana’s Guesthouse also works closely with Yacht Help Fiji to assist with the facilitation of superyacht visits to Vanuabalavu, including coordination for clearance and local arrangements when required.
As part of its operations, Moana’s Guesthouse remains deeply committed to respecting and upholding local customs and traditions.
The Guesthouse recognizes the traditional landowners of Qilaqila, the Yavusa Waitui, and ensures that all visiting guests follow proper cultural protocols.
This includes seeking permission before anchoring or visiting Qilaqila and presenting a sevusevu to the Yavusa Waitui as a sign of respect.
